Do you know why they\u2019re important? Well, if you didn\u2019t know that, then I\u2019m telling you right now that they\u2019re very significant to our environment!\n\nTrees. Now, how could they be important? Well, for starters, how do we get oxygen? Plants, including trees, get energy from the sun and transfer water and carbon dioxide into sugars. They feed off the sugars to grow and release oxygen, inhaling carbon dioxide. So, trees are important for one reason because they provide us with oxygen.\n\nThe next thing is that they make our world bright. This doesn\u2019t necessarily mean that trees have to sparkle and shine literally! Trees are precious to our world, and we need them to make our world happier. For example, someone might sit under a tree and read a book or write in their diary.\n\nThe last and final thing that makes trees important is that they\u2019re significant for our needs. Without trees, we can\u2019t make paper to write stories on, and that means there would be no books in the world. Oh no! That would be terrible!\n\nBut how can we protect trees? We can start off by chopping down more trees. Also, we can follow the three R\u2019s: Reduce, reuse, and recycle. We can reduce the amount of paper and other products that are made out of trees, we can reuse tree products, and we can place paper and other tree materials into the recycling bins.
