Do you want to read an amazing and extraordinary book? A book that\u2019s not like those boring novels you have to read? Then this is the book for you!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Last Kids on Earth and the Midnight Blade <\/span><\/i>is about a boy named Jack Sullivan and his friends. They survived their post-apocalyptic winter, and now, Jack realizes his Slicer has powers to control zombies! Soon, he is put into epic training by Bardle. Yet, every time Jack tries to control a zombie, he fails. He thinks the time he\u2019s using to train is going to waste and wants to play video games.<\/span><\/p>\n

Okay, so along with his vain attempts to control zombies while training and Vine-Thingies growing out of the ground, something\u2019s wrong with Dirk, Jack\u2019s friend. He\u2019s been acting weird and mostly been staying inside. Dirk was almost zombified in the book before this one, <\/span>The Last Kids on Earth and the Cosmic Beyond<\/span><\/i> and had to drink some kind of jelly out of an eyeball (gross) and that could have been traumatizing. But the gang soon discovers that Dirk is half-zombie!<\/span><\/p>\n

The process was almost complete, but after Dirk was saved by the eyeball jelly-not something you would say every day-even though he was cured, he still had an aftereffect of connecting with zombies. When nearby the zombies, the connection would be very clear, but it hurt. When far away from them, however, the connection would be fuzzy. I\u2019m not spoiling the ending for you, but I will tell you one thing: someone ends up dying in the story.<\/span><\/p>\n

This book is very sad, but it\u2019s also adventurous. The author clearly knows how to form a good story. Like, how does he put that humor into the story? I think it would be his own signature book series. Do you want to know what happens? Go ahead and read the book to find out!<\/span><\/p>\n
