Garam(hot) and masala(mixture of spices) blend ground spices.  It is most commonly used in Indian cuisines.  It contains coriander, red chili, black salt, black pepper, nutmeg, ginger, dry mango, fennel, cumin, caraway, mace, cloves, capers, bay leaves, fried gram, star anise, ajwain, big cardamom, cinnamon, cardamom, and asafoetida.
