Basundi is a famous Gujarati sweet dessert made with milk and nuts. It can be served warm or cold and is widely used on occasions and festivals in India. Ingredients are Milk, Sugar, Cardamom Powder, Chopped Almonds, Chopped Pistachios, and Saffron. Bring the milk to a boil in a heavy-coated pot. Let it simmer till it gets reduced to half. Then add sugar and boil it till it gets thickened. Now add cardamom powder, saffron, chopped almonds, and chopped pistachios. Stir it well and refrigerate till ready to serve.
