We enjoyed a 1/2-day visit at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan.  This is one of the most beautiful and an educational historical place in America.  It is large and well laid out on the 80 acres.   Greenfield Village is a recreation of like in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s which includes Henry Ford’s early home and workshops.  Henry Ford had very famous friends like Thomas Edison and Harvey Firestone.  Kruti had so much fun riding in the Ford Model T car.  We rode on an original coal-fired steam engine train that takes you around the Greenfield Village.  We visited some of the favorite sights including the printing office, Firestone farmhouse, agriculture, weaving, printing, pottery, mills, and many more.  We met many of the staff in the village dressed in period attire.  What a wonderful way to experience back into time at the Greenfield Village.  Greenfield Village is a nice place to stroll around learning the history of the people back in time.  We learned that what a creative, intelligent, and inspiring man Henry Ford was.  It was a fun, educational, and memorable experience for Kruti after visiting the Greenfield Village.
