Ganesha is the elephant-headed and human body god in Hinduism.  He is the son of Shiva & Parvati.  Ganesha sports a trunk, a pot belly, and four arms.  His trusty vehicle is a mouse.  He is consider a remover of  all obstacles and god of new beginnings.  He is known for his love of ladoos and modaks.
