A Story About My Favorite Animal and Taking Care of it All Day at the Zoo Written by Kruti!!!!!

My favorite animal is the red kangaroo. Red kangaroos are special mammals called marsupials. Marsupials are mammals of an order whose members are born incompletely developed and are typically carried and suckled in a pouch on the mother’s belly. Red kangaroos are mostly found in Australia. They’re the world’s largest marsupials.

Red kangaroos can live up to twenty three years. They are great swimmers. Red kangaroos are herbivores, which means that they eat plants. Their diet in the wild contains grass and leaves from shrubs. Red kangaroos can jump up to six feet because they have powerful hind legs. They can reach speeds of over 35 mph (miles per hour).

To take care of the red kangaroo, I would first make sure she starts off her day with a healthy snack, such as grass, alfalfa, fruit, root vegetables, and horse chow. I would also give her vitamins and minerals. Next, after she eats I would brush her teeth so they would become nice and clean. After that, I would give it a bubbly bath, then dry its fur. I would make sure its fur is groomed, too. I would play with it and then let it graze on fruits, grass, and horse chow. Then, I would make sure the red kangaroo is healthy by giving her a health checkup. After doing that, I would brush her teeth sparkling clean, bathe, dry, and groom her. If she had a joey recently, I would give it some milk to drink. Last but not least, I would say goodbye to the red kangaroo and her joey and go back to my home.

I had so much fun taking care of a red kangaroo at the zoo!
