“Dog Man, check if the mailbox contains any important mail.” Chief ordered Dog Man. Dog Man saluted Chief and nodded. When he went outside, he saw Petey with a finicky, horrible, monster. Dog Man fearfully took the mail from the mailbox and rushed inside Chief’s office, messing up all the organized papers on Chief’s desk.
“Oh phooey! Petey got out of jail again!” Chief said with a grief sigh. “Dog Man, go to the marsh. I bet Petey is there. But be careful because the land might be marshy.” Chief instructed. Dog Man rushed to the nursery that was near the marsh. Petey just bought a reliable Venus flytrap plant to destroy the whole town.
Dog Man remembered that Chief relied on Dog Man to arrest Petey. Meanwhile, Petey was riding on his enormous monster. When he put his finger on one of the Venus flytrap plant’s spines, he yelped in pain, “Ouch!!!” He kept on doing this silly habit, so Dog Man caught up to him. Petey, the monster, and the Venus flytrap plant were all arrested and put in jail.
The Venus flytrap plant thrived to survive, but died because the door smashed into the monstrous plant.
