A Story Called Coral and the Mermaid Kingdom Written By Kruti!!!

Coral and the Mermaid Kingdom

One hot sunny day, I was sitting on the sandy beach, looking at the ocean. In the distance, I saw a pink, young mermaid, and I thought to myself, “No, this can’t be right! Mermaids don’t even exist!” When the mermaid reached the shore, she introduced herself. The beautiful mermaid’s name was Coral, and she invited me to come to her undersea home.

I hesitated for a moment, and then realized that you don’t really get to go on a mermaid adventure every day! I replied excitedly and eagerly, “Yes!” We dove into the ocean with a huge splash. I noticed that you can’t breathe oxygen in the water, so I quickly asked Coral, “How am I gonna breathe?!” “Don’t worry,” Coral said calmly, “I’ll…I’ll turn you into a mermaid!” With a blast of Coral’s mermaid power, I was turned into a blue and purple mermaid. I had beautiful, glimmering blue eyes, purple hair, and a blue and purple mermaid tail.

Coral and I swam to her home, and we chatted along the way. Coral asked me what my name was, and I responded, “My name is Kruti Patel!” Coral and I came across a giant, hungry kraken! We swam for our lives, but the kraken caught up to me and grasped me tightly with his tentacles. While I was struggling to get out of the kraken’s tentacles, Coral used her strong mermaid powers to kill the horrible kraken.

Coral and I continued our journey to Coral’s home, and when we reached the enormous palace and went inside, Coral introduced me to her mother (AKA the queen of the kingdom) and Coral’s sisters: Rosa, Olivia, Yumi, Grace, and Violet. I watched fantastic horror movies with Coral and her sisters. We ate seacorn, which actually tasted wonderful. It’s popcorn in the water! I told them that in my world, I call seacorn ‘popcorn’.

Suddenly, we heard a loud, booming voice shouting, “Okay, krakens, this is your chance to prove worthy of yourselves. Move those mermaids out of the way so we can find a beautiful young mermaid named Kruti!” It was a wicked merman! The huge krakens pushed aside everybody. One of them finally found me and grasped me. Once one of the krakens found me, the merman tangled the mermaids and mermen in seaweed tightly. I questioned the merman angrily, “Who are you? Do you even have the right to do this to the mermaids and mermen of this kingdom? You are such a coward!” “Coward???” the merman replied mockingly. “You think I’m a coward?” I stammered, “Yes…sir.” “What? Bring this…this imbecile to my lair’s dungeon, krakens! She’ll get what she deserves.” the merman ordered.

Once the krakens took me to the merman’s dungeon, I sat there, worried. I thought, “Oh! Mother must be worried about where I am now! I don’t know what to do! Hmmm…maybe I should think outside the box. Wait, I have an idea! I’ll open the window and climb out of it! Then, I’ll swim towards the palace and free the mermaids and mermen! It’s worth a try!”

I thought that the window wasn’t locked, but it turned out that it was closed shut. “If only there was a way to break open this window. Oh, I know! I can use that sharp knife over there!” I thought to myself. I picked up the knife and used it to break open the window. I kept the knife with me, and I swam outside to look both ways, just to make sure there weren’t any krakens.

When I thought the coast was clear, I swam back to the palace and used the knife to rip open the seaweed wound around the mermaids and mermen. I told Coral and her sisters that we had to stop the evil merman from destroying the mermaid kingdom. Coral, her sisters, and I raced to the merman’s lair, and we used our powers to destroy the merman and his huge krakens.

Once Coral, her sisters, and I defeated the merman and his krakens, we swam back home. Queen Bridget hugged her wonderful daughters lovingly. I asked Coral if she could direct me back to shore because I was feeling a little homesick. So Coral and I swam back to shore. Before she changed me back into a human, she asked, “Are we still going to be friends forever, and will you ever come back to my home?” Her eyes were filled with tears. I couldn’t say no, so I replied, “Yes, we are going to be friends forever, even if we’re apart for a long time. Who knows? We might meet again, and I would go to your home and play with you and your sisters.” Coral stopped crying and we both hugged each other. “I’ll miss you, Kruti!” she said. “I’ll miss you too, Coral! Bye!” I answered.

Coral turned me into a human again, and we said our last good-byes. Then, she swam into the ocean and went to her beautiful home. “Where have you been, Kruti? Your mother and I have been looking everywhere for you!” Madison asked me. “Well, Madison, let’s just say it’s a long story!” I explained. We walked into my mom’s car, and my mom drove Madison to her home. Then she drove back to our home, and we lived happily ever after.
