Homemade Rava Uttapam Made by Jaimi!!!

Ingredients to make Rava Uttampam are 2 cups Semolina, 1 cup of Greek Yogurt, 1.5 teaspoon Salt, 1 cup of Water, 4 teaspoon of Sunflower Oil, 4 Tomatoes Cubed, a handful of fresh chopped Cilantro, 1 teaspoon of Eno Fruit Salt and 2 Green Bell Pepper Cubed.

Instructions

  1. For Batter.  In a bowl, add semolina, yogurt, salt and water.  Mix well and rest the batter for a few minutes.
  2. In another small bowl, add sunflower oil and Eno Fruit Salt and mix it well.  Then, transfer this mixture into the batter and mix it well.
  3. Add chopped cilantro, cubed tomatoes, and cubed bell peppers to the batter.  Then Mix it well.
  4. Take a non-stick pan and a lid.  Heat up the non-stick pan on the stove and pour a ladle full of batter in round shape.
  5. Let it cook on medium flame with lid on until the base is firm.  Then flip it and cook it on the other side with lid on until it is cooked well.
  6. Repeat the same process for the rest of the batter.
  7. Note: If the batter is too thin, you can add few tablespoons of rice flour to make the batter thick.
