Delicious Baked Samosas Made by Jaimi!!!

Ingredients to make Baked Samosas dough are 7 grain flour, salt, water, clarified butter, and carom seeds.

Ingredients to make samosas filling are microwaved red potatoes, salt, limes juice, chopped cilantro, garam masala, chaat masala, and sunflower oil.  

Instructions

Bake potatoes in the microwave.  Mash the potatoes in the bowl with a masher.  

Prepare samosa dough
1. Take a mixing bowl, add flour, salt, clarified butter, and carom seeds.    
2. Use KitchenAid stand mixer to make dough.
3. Add water as needed until the flour mixture forms into dough.
4. Add dab of oil into dough and set a side until ready to use.

Prepare samosa filling
1. In a medium skillet, add sunflower oil over medium heat.
2. Then add cilantro and mashed potatoes. Mix it well. 
3. Add salt, garam masala, chaat masala, and limes juice.  Stir it and cook it for few minutes. 
4. Turn off the stove and transfer the mixture into plate.

Fold and bake the samosa 
1. Take kneaded dough and roll into a smooth ball.
2. Using a rolling pin, roll dough ball into a circular shape.
3. Slice this dough diagonally so you can get two semi-circular pieces.
4. Pick up one of these pieces and lay it on your left hand so the straight edge lines up against the left side of your hand.
5. Now form a cone so that the top is wider and also open for you to stuff.
6. Add samosa filling and push it in so it evenly fills out. 
7. Seal the edge by pressing together or folding one edge over the other.
8. On a sheet pan, place each samosa roughly 2 inches away from each other. 
9. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake samosas each side until golden brown.  
10. Remove and serve it with green chutney.
