Baked Potato Pakoras Made by Jaimi!!!

Ingredients to make baked Potato Pakoras are red thin sliced potatoes, chickpea flour, rice flour, sunflower oil, chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, water, and salt to taste.

Ingredients

  • 3 large red potatoes – sliced thinly
  • 1 cup Chickpea Flour Besan
  • 1/2 cup Rice Flour
  • 4 tablespoons Oil + Extra for brushing
  • 3 Green Chillies finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder – optional
  • 1 cup Water + 2 tablespoon

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350°F.  Line a baking sheet with a parchment paper.
  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl until there are no lumps. The batter might be slightly runny which is okay. It should just about coat the potatoes.
  • Take a tablespoonful of potato batter at a time, shaking off any extra batter and place them on the sheet at equal distance.
  • Bake in the oven until they are fully cooked through and the top is golden brown. Half way through, brush the potato pakodas with oil and continue baking.
  • Serve immediately with ketchup and green coriander chutney.
