Who doesn’t love a good book? I know I do! Do you? Well, then, I suggest that you read the book Upside Down Magic: Showing Off tonight! So grab your soft pillow, tuck yourself in bed, and read this review about the book!
This book is written by Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, and Emily Jenkins. It’s an enjoyable story for people of all ages, and I’m pretty sure you’ll love it once you read the book. It’s about a girl named Nory. She has, what some people say, “wonky magic”, but I would call it “totally cool!” She’s an upside down fluxer. Fluxers can turn into any animal they want, but they have to practice. How is Nory’s magic different from regular fluxers, you ask? Well, the answer is that instead of turning into just ONE animal, at a certain time, she adds another animal. Mostly, when she turns into another animal, she becomes, for example, part beaver and part kitten, which is a bitten.
When Nory totally messed up in the Sage Academy test, she was sent to Dunwiddle School with other upside down magic students, like an upside down flier, Andres, and an upside down fuzzy, Pepper. At Dunwiddle, they’re having a talent show, and it’s called the “Show-Off”. That explains why the title is “Upside Down Magic: Showing Off”! The UDM’s have to find a way to work together and steal the show, or they might not win!
This is a funny, magical book, and it’s a very good book! My advice is that you check the book out this instant at the nearest library and start reading it immediately!
