Ingredients to make cilantro bajra dhebra are 1 cup pearl millet flour, 1/3 cup semolina, 3/4 cup whole wheat flour, 1 cup finely chopped cilantro, 1 TBSP Greek yogurt, 1 TSP finely chopped green chillies, 1 TSP turmeric powder, 1 TSP red chilli powder, sunflower oil for deep frying, 1.5 TSP sesame seeds, 1 TSP salt, and 1 TBSP coconut sugar.
Instructions
- In a big bowl add all the flours and spices and mix well.
- Then add chopped cilantro and yogurt and mix well to make a semi soft dough.
- You can add water as needed to make the dough.
- Make balls of equal size from the dough.
- Take a ball of dough and roll it to make a small disk on the parchment paper.
- Just pat the dough with fingers and make a disk like poori. ‘
- Heat the oil in a deep wide pan and deep fry these dhebras on medium to low heat until they turn golden brown on both side.
- Drain in paper towel to remove excess oil from dhebras.
