“Holi Hai”

Holi is an Indian celebration of the Festival of Colors, the Festival of Love, and the Festival of Spring.  It is also celebrated as the eternal and divine love between Goddess Radha and God Krishna.  It’s the celebration of new beginnings, welcomes the spring season, and celebrates the end of winter blues.  A bonfire is lit, and this symbolizes good winning over evil and letting the bad and the negative melt away.  

Gujiya, Puran Poli, Malpua, and Thandai are served on this colorful festival.  Lal, Pila, Hara, Gulabi – Have fun throwing powdered colors and splashing colored water into the air and onto each other.
