Namak Para
Namak Para is a crunchy, savory Indian snack eaten in India. This ribbon-like strip snack is made of whole wheat flour, ajwain, ghee, and other spices. Count on this snack; one of the most favorite snacks is Namak Para in my household. It can be made during Diwali, along with other sweet and savory snacks that also can be enjoyed year around. Sprinkle a mixture of chaat masala and Kashmiri red chili powder on warm Namak Para, and you will be amazed how kids would love them. Whip up some of this fried finger goodness and enjoy!
