Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup yellow moong dal cooked
  • 1/2 cup tuvar dal cooked
  • 5 vine tomatoes chopped
  • 2 carrots cooked
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cups chopped cauliflower
  • 2 tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp grated garlic
  • 1 tbsp grated green chilies
  • salt as needed
  • 2 tbsp pav bhaji masala
  • 2 tbsp dry mango powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro for serving
  • 4 lime wedges for serving
  • toasted bread to serve
  • 1 red onion finely chopped for serving

Notes: Add Kashmiri red chili powder to make it more spicier. Sprinkle some pav bhaji masala on the Dal Bhaji, along with onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
