Kruti’s India Trip in 2023!!!

We traveled to India in June and July. First, we arrived at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport and rode in a car to our hotel. Next, we traveled to Ranoli and visited KusumBa and Dada. I devoured juicy ‘Carrie’ mangos, and other people from the community came as well. After that, we progressed to our hotel and gobbled down on dinner. The next day, we went shopping for Indian dresses and chaniya cholis at a store in Baroda called Sequinze. We bought them for my mom and me, and I’m pretty sure we purchased a million Indian outfits. After buying them, we went to our hotel and waited for the Indian clothing to be ready for us to pick up. Then we dined on some appetizing Indian food.

My family and I ingested PizzaWala pizza in Baroda, and it tasted like the best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was crunchy, and the cheese was delectable. I also got to drink a fizzy green apple beverage. We also traveled to an Indian food restaurant called Vishala and ate puri, shakh, rice, roti, and sipped on coconut water. Once the Sequinze outfits were ready, we tried them on and took them back to the hotel. We also shopped at more stores to purchase Indian saris and souvenirs to take home. I also bought a few items at a miniscule but awe-striking shop in our hotel, like an Indian flag magnet, a turtle, and a peacock. I got a pencil case and several unique pens from a supply shop as well! We went to an Indian restaurant called Under the Neem Trees and devoured pani puri and other Indian food.

My mom and I had our hair trimmed and washed at a salon in India. We also ordered a special vanilla cake, mango cake, and another flavor-filled cake for my birthday celebration in India! My family and I all dressed up, and I wore the sparkly, blue chaniya choli we bought at the store in Sequinze. The setup was so elegant and wonderful, and the cakes were super succulent as well as the food! Several people from the community came for the birthday celebration in a hall in Ranoli. After that, my family and I went to KusumBa’s home and devoured some snacks, like mini mathiya, regular-sized mathiya, and gathiya. On our last day in India, KusumBa and Dada came over as well as a few other people to our hotel room. We gobbled down on luscious, tasty cake and said goodbye to KusumBa and Dada. While boarding our plane that would take us home, I started to miss Ahmedabad already. I can’t wait to come back and see KusumBa and Dada again!
