Have you seen alpacas with snazzy haircuts? A species that was thought to be extinct but was found again? Check out these awesome animals with amazing features!!
First up are alpacas that received haircuts from a professional. The owner was celebrating her 10th year of raising alpacas, so she decided to give her animals haircuts. She drew the shapes she wanted the hairstyles to be in and showed them to the professionals so they could give the animals a makeover. The owner, Helen Kendall Smith, chose alpacas who loved attention to get a special haircut. Bonso received an appearance that looked like a stegosaurus, Tinka got one that looked like a zebra, and Ottie acquired one that was inspired by a poodle.
Next is a kangaroo that climbed a roof somehow. A few people saw the creature up on the roof and immediately called a fire department to help the kangaroo get down. Rescuers were a bit confused about how the kangaroo got up there, but they guessed that a boisterous noise or another animal frightened the kangaroo. Hence, it somehow jumped high all the way up to the roof. The rescuers ushered the kangaroo to jump down from the roof. Soon, it rushed off into the bushes, unfazed and unharmed. I’m glad the kangaroo was okay, but I’m still shocked by how it was able to jump so high onto the roof!
Last, but not least, are the comeback critters: Madagascar pochards. One day, Lily-Arison Rene de Roland was watching the lake. He gazed at these ducks that were in the lake, and they were the species declared to be extinct years ago: Madagascar pochards. This lake wasn’t suitable for them to be living there. It wasn’t shallow, was chilly, and didn’t have much food. It was a mystery how these ducks even got there from their usual home to the lake. Scientists gathered eggs and ducks from the lake in captivity. Soon, 111 adult ducks were released to a protected lake, Lake Sofia. However, they’re still monitored, just in case.
In conclusion, these animal stories are intriguing as well as the animals! I especially liked the alpacas and their haircuts! I hope you learned something about these animals and enjoyed these amazing animals!
