“National Geographic Kids: Guinness World Records” Article Summary by Kruti!!!

Have you heard about the largest decoration? The most pirouettes performed on a person’s head? Well, then, you will hear more about these things in here.

First of all is Juno the polar bear. She is the world’s highest-ranking bear and the mascot for the Canadian Army, who adopted her. Juno was born near an armed force and now holds the unofficial rank of master corporal. She also raises climate change awareness at the Toronto Zoo, which is where she lives. That’s one cool bear.

Second of all, the world’s largest holiday bauble has been built and hung from the ceiling of a mall in Dubai. This decor weighs 2,425 pounds and has a 15 feet diameter. It took two nights to put the ornament together and a third night to hang it. The ornament looks mesmerizing and must have taken a lot of effort to make. Whoever created the ornament is really talented.

Lastly, a woman named Wu Zhendan can perform 4 pirouettes on the head of Wei Baohua. That is the most that has been recorded, so she has broken the record. Wei has to wear a special hat now to keep his skull comfortable since it started aching from Wu’s pirouettes. It must have taken a lot of practice for the lady to do 4 pirouettes, especially on someone’s head. It’s scary because you don’t know if something will go wrong. That’s a lot of bravery.

In conclusion, these are some amazing Guinness World Records. I love the second one about the largest ornament the most since it must have taken a lot of effort and skill. What’s your favorite?
