Krishna Janmashtami Was Celebrated @ Home on August 26, 2024!

Krishna Janmashtami is an Indian festival celebrating the birth of Lord Shree Krishna. Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, took an avatar to maintain Dharma on earth.  It is celebrated by decorating homes, temples, and towns with lights, balloons, and flowers.  During Janmashtami, the child form of Lord Krishna called Bal Gopal is primarily worshipped.  Devotees worldwide observe fasting on Janmashtami, which is broken after midnight.  It is believed that Lord Krishna was born at midnight; devotees perform puja at homes and temples.  The festival is celebrated yearly and reminds devotees of Lord Krishna’s fun and playful experience in Gokul, Mathura, and Vrindavan.   On this particular day, people make bhog or prasad and offer it to Lord Krishna. May your life be filled with the blessings of Lord Krishna, and the year bring you love, peace, and happiness.  Let’s pray to Lord Krishna to steal all of our worries and leave us with everlasting peace and joy.
