Congratulations to dear Kruti,
One of Kruti’s favorite subjects is ELA. An ELA class involves reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, etc. English covers the reading and writing features of the language. ELA covers more grammar rules, vocabulary, and spelling. I am sure Kruti will continue to ace the ELA class.

ELA is a beneficial, incredible class that’s always fascinated me. It consists of many elements, like reading comprehension, different genres, details of storytelling, grammar rules, and more. Usually, by reading books, knowledge is increased vastly. The teacher uses small stories and sometimes has read-a-louds of larger books for the class. Book clubs also exist–usually for historical fiction books–in which the teacher asks you to select a top selection of books you enjoy from the ones she gives you. Then, based on what others choose, she puts you in a group with others who also like the same book as yours. I admire reading different genres and analyzing them instead of just reading one. It immerses people who often read one type of book into something new. Plus, it helps students on PSATS and SATS to comprehend how to infer details in different genres based on what is given. I believe I have received this award due to my hard dedication throughout marking period one. I strived strongly for good grades and got them. In addition, I aced the essays and paragraph prompts given as assignments to the class and participated many times. At the beginning of the year, I was the only one in my period who won my team points in a Jeopardy game for the final round because I contributed something to the answer. The teacher even told me that I should be in honors. I’m proud of myself for getting an ELA award, and I hope to aspire even more in the subsequent few marking periods for higher grades and more concise writing.
