An Evil Witch Kidnapped My Best Friend!

One day, my friend, Mishka, and I were playing with our American girl dolls outside when a vile witch swooped down and kidnapped Mishka! The wicked witch let out a loud cackle. I thought to myself, “I have to save Mishka!” I rushed inside to place my American girl doll in my bedroom. I raced to the shed to grab my bicycle, and I pulled out my phone to open my GPS app. I settled it into my bicycle’s sparkly, pink pouch and followed the GPS’s directions.

While I was riding my bicycle, I suddenly stopped because there was a huge traffic jam. I heard, “Honk! Honk! Honk!” from many people’s cars. “There must’ve been a car accident,” I murmured. There was a traffic jam for three hours! Do you know how that feels? Finally, cars were starting to move again, and soon I was on my way to the despicable witch’s dangerous, haunted lair.

When I reached my destination, I was face-to-face with wolves, and I thought that they were the wicked witch’s guards. I was startled when one of the wolves asked me sharply, “Who are you?” I hesitated, and my heart was beating. When I got the confidence to say something, I replied, “Well…um…I’m…delivering the witch’s potions. She is running out of them, so she ordered some…uh…new ones from Witchcraft.com!” The wolf whispered to the other wolves, and it seemed as if they were having a serious conversation with each other. “You can come in,” they finally agreed.

I tiptoed into the palace and hid behind a thick, large beam. I was so nervous and frightened. I peeked from behind the beam and saw Mishka, trapped in a huge, iron cage. I thought to myself, “I have to come out of my comfort zone and be brave,”

I slowly revealed myself from the beam and said loudly, “Hi, evil witch!” The witch looked behind me and asked me in a strict voice, “Who are you?” “Well…um…I-” Before I could say anything I was interrupted by one of the wolves, and he messed my whole plan up. “Elena, that delivery girl is delivering you some potions because she said you were running out of them. You ordered new ones from Witchcraft.com,” the wolf explained. I could tell that the witch was steaming hot and full of anger, so I slowly backed away.

But I couldn’t escape because the exit was blocked by an enormous, huge hound! I stammered nervously, “Hey…um…big dog…could you…um…move out of the way?” The huge hound barked and chased after me, and I ran for my life! I accidentally tripped over a rope and was caught in a net. I struggled to get myself free, but I failed. “So, is this how you meet a wicked, clever witch? You lie and try to get into my lair, but get caught? I expect better of humans these days,” Elena said in an evil voice.

“But aren’t you a human yourself? I mean, you do have two eyes, one mouth, teeth, a nose, and other body parts. What doesn’t make you a human?” I asked Elena. “Do you want to suffer the consequences?” Elena asked, raising her voice a lot. “No, I don’t,” I replied. “Too bad, because tonight you are going to become my dinner, even if you don’t want to suffer the consequences!” she said with a wicked laugh. Elena then left us alone.

“We have to save ourselves, Mishka! We can’t just stay here until the witch eats us up!” I exclaimed quietly. “I know, but how?” she asked. “Hmmm…Oh! I have an idea! See those keys next to you?” I said confidently. “Yeah, I do!” Mishka responded. “Okay, so do you think you can slip your hand through the bars and unlock your cage? After you do that, then grasp that sword over there and run to where I am. Use the sword to cut the net open so we can both escape,” I planned. “How are we going to get past the houn-” she asked, but I interrupted her. “He fell asleep, so we have to be quiet, Mishka,” I whispered quickly.

“Okay, Mishka, grab the keys!” I directed softly. The keys didn’t even go “Jingle, jingle, jingle!” as they should go. In fact, the keys were as silent as a mime! “Mishka, now unlock your cage and grab the sword,” I continued. She did as I said and listened to my instructions carefully. Once Mishka unlocked her cage, she tiptoed quietly to the sword and grasped it. I instructed her to cut a huge hole in the net I was trapped in and she did.

I fell out and Mishka and I strolled without a sound outside. We rode my bike to my house and rushed inside. Mishka and I played with our dolls, watched “The Secret Life of Pets 2”, and read our stories to each other. “Mishka, did you bring your sleeping bag?” I asked. “Yes!” she replied. “Okay, because we are going to have…a sleepover!” I shouted.

“Yay!” Mishka answered with excitement. We brushed our teeth, wore our pajamas, dressed our American girl dolls into their pajamas, and went to sleep. I had the most exciting adventure ever!
