Almond Flour Mysore Pak Made by Jaimi!!!

Ingredients to make Almond Flour Mysore Pak are almond flour, cardamom powder, ghee, sugar, milk, and sliced almonds.

Almond flour mysore pak is healthy Indian sweet made from almond flour instead of gram flour.  Traditionally, mysore pak is made of three main ingredients gram flour, ghee, and sugar.  Mysore pak is a special sweet from South Indian city called Mysore.  It is prepared during festivals and weddings in South India.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup ghee
  • 1 TBSP cardamom powder
  • 2 TBSP sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. In a non-stick pan, add sugar, almond flour, milk, and ghee.  Mix all the ingredients with a ladle to make a smooth lump free mixture.  Put the pan on the stove over medium heat.
  2. Continuously stir the mixture until it start leaving the sides of the pan and ghee start to separate from it.  Let the mixture turn to light brown color and becomes frothy and light in texture.  
  3. Pour the almond mixture in charni/sieve to set.  Garnish with sliced almonds and cardamom powder. Let it cool down for about 20 minutes.  Cut into pieces. Enjoy!!!
