“Crinkle, crinkle!” Kayla shoved the message into the soda bottle. She was going to throw the bottle into the sea, and it would go on a long journey. Kayla looked at the bottle and twisted its cap on. She took a last glimpse at it and tossed it into the ocean.
The raging winds were wild, and the bottle was tossed back and forth. The sea was rough, and it was very dangerous to be outside at that time. “Splish, splash!” the water screamed. A loud boom of thunder was heard. The bottle was bobbing up and down in the water. Could it survive these waves, or would it be lost at sea forever?
The bottle proceeded with its journey, despite the waves and strong winds. The winds were gusting at a high speed, but the bottle swam in the ocean with all its might. The water seemed to be helping the bottle stay afloat. Maybe the bottle would make it!
There was land a hundred miles away, but the bottle was desperate to deliver the message to…well, someone. The bottle’s journey was tough, but not for long. The storm cleared in a few hours, the wind no longer blowing angrily, and the ocean now calm. Everything was peaceful, and the bottle continued to reach the land.
The bottle soon reached land. It plopped on the sand and rested there. It was exhausted after its long journey across the ocean. At noon, a girl stepped outside of her cottage/ on the land and saw the bottle. She opened it and read the note. It said,
Hello! How are you? Please reply to this letter.

K.P.
The girl grabbed a pen in her hoodie pocket and scribbled away on the back of the note, writing a message to K.P. She shoved it into the bottle, twisted the cap back on, and tossed it into the ocean, the bottle starting its journey back to where it came from.
The bottle traveled all the way from the island to where it came from. When it reached Kayla’s home, Kayla immediately picked up the bottle and opened it. She read the note in the bottle:
Dear K.P.,
Hi! I’m fine! I hope you are having a wonderful life! Be happy!
