A papdi chaat is a delicious North Indian snack which has all the flavors in one bite – spicy, sweet, and tangy. It is one of the most popular snacks that can be found on the street of India. It’s made of crispy papdi or puri that are topped with boiled potatoes, boiled chickpeas, cilantro-mint chutney, sweet chutney, yogurt, and crunchy sev. To enhance the flavor of papdi chaat, add red chilli powder, chaat masala powder, finely chopped tomatoes, and finely chopped cilantro. Papdi Chaat can be served as a snack or as a appetizer.
Ingredients to make papdi chaat are papadis, boiled chickpeas of your choice, boiled chopped potatoes, yogurt lightly beaten, date tamarind chutney, green cilantro-mint chutney, and sev.
