Ingredients to make papdi are 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 TSP cumin seeds, 1.5 TBSP ghee, 1/2 TSP salt, water as needed, and sunflower oil for deep frying.
Papdi is a round shaped and crispy deep fried puri being used in varieties of chaats like bhel puri, corn chaat, and papdi chaat. Papdi can be enjoyed as a tea time snack any time of the day.
I made papdi using the following recipe:
Note: You can add half amount of whole wheat flour and half all purpose flour or only use whole wheat flour. Fry them on a medium to low heat.
