Fried Chana Dal Made by Jaimi!!!

Chana dal is a deep fried crunchy Indian snack made using soaked split Bengal Gram or Chana Dal.  Soaking chana dal with water and milk for about 4 hours or overnight and drying chana dal very well is the key secret to get the perfect crispiness.  Enjoy crunchy chana dal snack with a cup of tea or any time of the day.  You can add finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, cilantro, and chat masala to the deep fried chana dal and enjoy it.

Ingredients to make fried chana dal are 2 cups chana dal, 1 cup milk, and sunflower oil for deep frying.

Ingredients to make spice mix are 1 TSP Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 TSP black salt, and 1 TSP salt.

Note:  You can just tweak some spices as per your taste and like.  Skip red chilli powder to make it non spicy.
