Khasta Moong Dal Kachori is a deep fried crispy and flaky Indian snack made with spiced moong split dal stuffing and all purpose flour.  It is an absolute delicious street food snack, which is very popular in North India.  It is an ideal and a perfect snack with a cup of tea or coffee any time of the day.  It can be served as a side dish with any meal.  It can be enjoyed with sweet tamarind chutney to enhance the flavor of the kachori.

Ingredients to make Khasta Moong Dal Kachori Dough are all purpose flour, salt, ghee, and water.

Ingredients to make Khasta Moong Dal Kachori Stuffing are split yellow moong dal, water, sunflower oil, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala powder, crushed black pepper, gram flour, juice of 3 limes, pink salt, salt, and chaat masala powder.

Ingredients for Frying Khasta Moong Dal Kachori is canola oil for deep frying.
