The Perfect Room for Doing Homework

By Kruti Patel

If I had a perfect room for homework, first of all, it would be blue. Why blue? Because blue is my favorite color! The walls would be blue, the floor would be blue, my work table would be blue…I could go on and on with the list of items that would be blue!!

I would have a blue desk and a chair for doing my homework, a blue laptop, and novels for my novel studies. The room would contain pencils, pens, colored pencils, crayons, markers, scissors, glue, and all sorts of paper. Parchment paper, lined paper, tissue paper, etc.

My homework room would also have two bean bag chairs for me to do my homework or read on and a TV for me to watch educational videos and shows about science and social studies. I would have a Google Nest Mini to play relaxing piano music during my studies. (Who doesn’t love piano music?!)

My perfect room would have a bed for me to sleep and take breaks on. My room would also have some notebooks for me to take notes and draw on. I would decorate my room with paintings and posters on the walls. I would place four of those shelves that many people put on the walls as well.

My room would have materials for science experiments. It would also have a trash can. (I mean, what kind of homework room doesn’t have a trash can? You need to throw papers out!) It would have colorful curtains with star cutouts and some snacks too. What? I might get hungry!

I would add a pack of water bottles to stay hydrated. No one wants a dry throat while doing homework. It keeps them focused on their need for water. The room would even include a robot that helps with homework and another that can make food appear! I wish I had this homework room in real life. That would be so awesome, wouldn’t it?
