“Goddess Girls: Medusa the Mean” Book Review by Kruti!!!

Do you love mythology? Do you love morality stories? Then you will make a good choice by reading this book.

Goddess Girls: Medusa the Mean is about a mortal with snake hair and green skin named Medusa. She is rude to everyone and hates her life. She likes her snakes, though, because they’re thoughtful to her. She has an immortal crush, Poseidon and still goes to a school with immortals and mortals! Medusa is a bit jealous of Athena, Aphrodite, Persephone, and Artemis, because they are the most popular girls at school because of their character and powers.

Zeus, Athena’s dad, and Hera, Athena’s stepmom (almost) are going to get married. So Zeus has picked boys from the school for his groomsmen. And those people pick a person to be a bridesmaid for Hera. Medusa realizes she wants Poseidon to choose her, so she waits until Poseidon has to choose with a challenge. All of the other boys do the same thing. Medusa sees an item in a magazine, and she believes its powers to give immortality to anyone after her skepticism about the claims.

Medusa realizes she doesn’t have enough money, so she pleads her sisters to give her money, and they hesitantly say yes. Medusa obviously doesn’t tell about the necklace, but about buying the wedding gift? Yes! She tries to find other items for the wedding, but they cost too much. Medusa gets so little, of course. She gets into a dealership with a suspicious guy who says that he can make products, and all she has to do is sign a contract. Boom, the deal was done!

Soon, Medusa has to comfort a kindergartener who she accidentally made cry, find out how to make friends, and decide whether her heart’s in the right place being with Poseidon, the sea god. If you want to find out what happens in the book, then read it!

This is an amazing book! I would rate it five stars for its excellency, fantastic plot, and creativity. Using Greek mythology and making everyone their own story based on what is true about them? The cover is not the only thing that’s appealing! So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and read this phenomenal and imaginative book!
