“The Wild Robot Escapes” Book Review by Kruti!!!

Have you been waiting to see what has happened to Roz? Well, wait no more, because the second book is out: The Wild Robot Escapes! In this book review, I will tell you about it without giving anything away. 🙂

In this book, Roz gets delivered to a farmer. The farmer introduces the robot, Roz, to himself and his children. His name is Mr. Shareef, and the children are Jaya and Jad. Mr. Shareef shows Roz around the farm and the work the robot will be doing. Roz goes to the animal barn and communicates with the animals since she can speak that language. She studies farming on a computer given to her and starts working the next day.

Roz starts working around the farm, and she also talks to the barn animals. She tells them stories about her adventures on a wild island. (By the way, her memory was still there.) Roz then tells them she has to leave. The robot sometimes plays with the children and tells them stories about a robot. Even though the stories are about her, Roz actually doesn’t talk about that detail. The children find out at some point, and they help remove the tracking device on her. Then, after Brightbill finds Roz, they go off into the forest and journey through many dangers together.

It’s kind of like the island Roz was at, but a bit different. Roz has to fit in, though, so she just mimics what the other robots do in one town. After finally almost reaching the island…the worst thing happens. A white aircraft hovers over Roz, just like the one in the first book. In case you didn’t read the first book, that white aircraft belongs to the company that made Roz. Soon, robots come down from the sky, and they chase after Roz. Roz lets herself die and… “ZAP!” The world goes black.

I love this book for its creativity. It’s amazing how the author puts together nature and a robot and combines it. I like the love and effort put into this as well as the drawings. I would recommend this to people who like adventurous books, robots, and nature. Want to know what happens next in this book? Check it out to find out!
