“National Geographic Kids: Awesome 8 Coolest Pools” Article Summary by Kruti!!!

A violin-shaped rainbow pool? A luxurious water slide next to your condo? A pool on the rooftop of a building that’s 57 stories up? Yes, those pools exist, and more!

Today I’m going to tell you about 8 awesome pools you might want to consider visiting sometime. They are all marvelous, spectacular, and must have taken a long to build. Even though some are scary because of their height, there are others that might decrease your fear.

The first pool I will discuss is the violin-shaped pool. Someone who loved music designed this pool in his backyard. With several lights that will show best at night, a hot tub as the chin rest, and narrow ponds as the bow. Trust me, it looks outstanding and elegant. This person did a fine job decorating and making this layout. It looks so creative, and it’s one of a kind!

The next pool is one that is in Berlin, Germany. You can hang around in the Spree River’s pool with your friends. If planning a visit there, I would suggest you go there. But before you go into the pool, check the health guidelines since they might be different from in the U.S. or wherever you live. The third pool is at a hotel in Dallas Texas called the Joule Hotel! It will be worth going into that pool. Just look at that fantastic view! Guests can look at the city from there.

Next is a pool in an indoor water park. It’s in China and filled with loads of fun things to do. There are several people, rides, fun activities, and a huge pool that I was talking about. It’s a saltwater pool, and you might enjoy it there. You can make new friends and maybe invite old friends. Fifth are balcony pools! Yes, balcony pools you can swim in. Some condos have an option to have balcony pools in Mumbai, India. The pools are 37 stories !

See a red pool? Don’t worry! There’s nothing wrong with it. Although it looks a bit scary, the red just comes from the tiles at the bottom of the pool. This pool is called the Red Pool, and it’s at the Library hotel in Thailand. Fascinating, right?

Enjoy the beautiful, but scary, view of the city as you swim in a rooftop pool. 57 floors up, you can see several skyscrapers at this view. Sure, it’s not outer space, but it is something! I mean, 57 floors and getting to see the skyscrapers in Singapore? It seems like a nice vacation trip. Lastly is a huge, huge, huge, huge, huge, HUGE pool in Chile! And when I say huge, I mean huge. This pool is longer than 20 Olympic swimming pools and has 66 million gallons of water! Some visitors use a sailboat to travel in the water. It’s outside the San Alfonso del Mar resort, and it is worth going there to enjoy the huge body of water.

So would you consider visiting any of these places? They’re pretty neat, right? Now you can tell all of your friends and family members about these places and maybe even consider going to one of them!
