Ingredients
- 1½ cups besan
- 1½ semolina
- 1 tsp crushed black pepper
- 1 tsp lightly pounded coriander seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp Turbinado sugar
- 2 cups fresh methi
- 1 cup cilantro
- 3 finely chopped green chillies
- 2 tbsp rava
- water as needed to make the batter
- ½ tsp ENO
- ¼ ajwain
- 3 tbsp hot oil to activate ENO
- sunflower oil for deep frying
