









Marcha Na Bhajiya
Marcha Na Bhajiya is known as Mirch Pakora. It is an Indian snack for foodies who love green chilies, whether spicy or non-spicy. It is easy to make without much afford and can serve as a light snack at any time. It is the most loveable snack with a cup of tea or coffee. Ingredients
- 20 green chilies deseeded
- 1 tbsp ajwain
- 2 tbsp gram flour to sprinkle on marcha
- ½ tsp salt or as needed
- 3 tbsp lime juice
- 1½ cup gram flour
- 2 tsp garlic – ginger paste
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
- ½ crushed black pepper
- sunflower oil for deep frying bhajiya
- sprinkle with chaat masala
Directions
- Wash, cut the green chilies in half, and remove the seeds.
- Place them on the cutting board facing up. Now sprinkle ajwain seeds, salt, lime juice, and dust them with some gram flour and keep aside.
- Now heat the oil on the pan on a medium flame to deep fry the marcha
- Then, make a batter in a bowl by adding gram flour, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, crushed black pepper, and salt as needed. Add water to make a thick batter and mix well.
- Next, deep a green chili in the batter and drop them into the oil. Let it fry them till they become light golden brown after turning them continuously.
- Remove the fried marcha on a paper towel-lined dish. To enhance the bhajiya’s flavor, sprinkle chaat masala while they are hot. Repeat the above steps to fry the rest of the marcha.
