Roti

Roti is an Indian flatbread made with whole wheat flour. They are known as rotli, chapati, or phulka. Roti can be served with any Indian shaak or subzi during every meal. This recipe is unique because it uses ghee as mohan instead of oil. The dough should be soft and rested for approximately 15 minutes before making Roti.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½  whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup whole wheat flour for rolling
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp ghee apply over the dough log
  • water as needed
