Dudhi Halwa
Dudhi Halwa is a traditional Indian mithia made from a bottled gourd, sugar, milk, and cardamom powder and garnished with a mixture of nuts. I have added homemade mawa even though this recipe does not require it. It’s optional to add mawa to enhance its flavor and make it more creamy. Make Dudhi Halwa with a recipe tweak by adding condensed milk instead of sugar. Squeeze out as much water as possible from grated dudhi. To be more creative, sprinkle raisins and sliced almonds as the topping of halwa. Any Indian festivities and occasion wouldn’t be complete without Dudhi Halwa. This is an easy recipe to make the perfect and mouthwatering Dudhi Halwa. Don’t forget to try out the Dudhi Halwa recipe in your kitchen and share it with family and friends!!!
