“Life Skills for Tweens” Book Review by Kruti!!!

Ever wondered how to prepare to mature from tween to teen? Well, if you have never wondered and now want to know more about this, you should read the book Life Skills for Tweens, which is a book that talks about changes and maturing into a teen. Some of these changes might be physical; some might be mental. No matter what, you’re going to want to prepare for them.

This book is about life skills that you will want to know while growing up as a tween into a teen. You get to learn about time management and how to achieve it. You also are educated about setting goals for yourself properly, so it’s not just for the heck of setting it. You can learn about motivation and staying on track as well!

The book also covers how to keep friends and maintain healthy, strong relationships instead of toxic, manipulating ones. It talks about how friends should be loyal, trustworthy, and respectful-the same way you should be to that friend. You should obviously also be able to communicate with them about things. They discuss bullying, cyberbullying, and gossip, as well as what to do when confronted with them.

Emotions are another topic of this book. They articulate dealing with anger, sadness, fear, stress, and anxiety. School and education are discussed, and the author talks about achieving good grades, studying effectively, and easily remembering information. Because your health is also important, they cover this topic as well. This chapter describes good hygiene, exercising a lot, getting more sleep, and changes in your body.

Lastly, the book talks about money and cooking as well as happiness, proper etiquette, safety, and social skills. It talks about saving and spending money, different tools for cooking and recipes, how to be a bit happier in life, manners, and being safe online and in the metaverse, and in the real world. It also discusses eye contact and how to communicate better. The book even helps you come up with your own, fun password that will make sure your account/device doesn’t get hacked.

This book would get a 5-star rating from me. It taught me more about money terms that I didn’t really understand. It also helped me understand the difference between a debit and a credit card. I especially liked the activities throughout the whole book that you could do that related to the topic you just read about. I would recommend this book to 11-year-olds and older, since it’s a book for tweens
