A perfect festival snack to make, especially during Diwali. Serve this crispy and crunchy fafda as an evening or breakfast snack with tea or coffee.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gram flour
  • ¼ cup urad dal flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp carom seeds
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • ½ cup water or as needed
  • ½ tsp ghee
  • pinch of papad khar
  • sunflower oil for deep frying fafda
  • 1 cup of rice flour to roll fafda
