Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup warm milk
  • 4 tbsp Thandai powder
  • 10 saffron strands
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Notes: Add Thandai powder and saffron strands to warm milk and mix it well.  Garnish the cake with sliced almonds and sliced pistachios.  You can add chopped pistachios to the cake batter.  Whisk yogurt and sugar in a bowl, and add oil and Thandai powder milk mixture.  Then combine and mix it well. Bake the cake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.
