“Life Skills For Teens” Book Review by Kruti!!!

Are you a teen who’s perturbed by not knowing some things necessary in life, like money, savings, and more? Well, fear no more, because there’s a book that will help you with your problems!

Life Skills For Teens is a book about, well, tip-offs about life for teenagers! It will educate you on all the topics you need to know for being a teen, from cooking a meal to caring for a car! It talks about how to use kitchen appliances and how to eat healthy-basically everything about food and the kitchen. The book also talks about personal hygiene and health, like with managing your feelings and calming yourself before doing something rash. The book mentions ways to make yourself feel better as well, like doing things you love and other hobbies.

Of course, you’re going to want to manage money as a teen. But how are you going to do that? Don’t worry, the book also broaches about saving money, budgeting, bank accounts, using an ATM, and more. Never learned how to write a check? Think it’s confusing? The book also touches on how to write a check and credit scores. When growing up, you also want to make goals for yourself. There’s also a section about creating goals that are more realistic than fantastical.

Not good at problem-solving or socializing? This book also has its own sections about those topics! It will teach you to solve the conflict instead of running from it. If you’re not very good at making friends, do not fret. A section will teach you a bit about maintaining friendships and making new ones. The book will teach teenagers manners as well, like apologizing in better ways and saying “please” and “thank you”. Plus, the book will show you about staying true to yourself in situations and how to avoid peer pressure.

Life Skills For Teens talks about doing your laundry as well and depicts various methods to wash and fold your clothes. It even demonstrates how to tie a tie, how to wash your shoes, and more! In addition, the book discusses home maintenance, like using circuit breakers, fixing a running toilet, and different tools. Car care is also talked about in the book. It confers about a car’s gas tank, checking the oil, and signs of tire pressure. Don’t understand those words much? Don’t be perturbed, because the book will explain those in more detail. Lastly, the book mentions reading maps and public transportation timetables.

I would rate this book 5 stars because it really helps teenagers get ready for the real world and start being more responsible. I would recommend it to people who are turning into teenagers, are 12 years or older, or would like life advice about being a teenager. So, if you’re a teenager who would love some tips and suggestions about being a teen, then you should go ahead and read this book!
