This year Holi is being celebrated on Monday, March 25, 2024.  

Holi is a world-famous Indian Festival of Colors, the celebration of the arrival of spring.  It is also known as the celebration of the triumph of good over evil.  

Let the Holi celebration bring us closer to God.  Offer color-specific flowers to the God and allow them to bless yourself with the touch of those offered flowers.   

The colors of Holi symbolize different things. Blue represents Lord Krishna’s skin, while green symbolizes spring and rebirth. Red represents marriage, and yellow is considered a ritual, which symbolizes auspiciousness.  During the Holi festival – the food being prepared includes Gujia, Coconut Burfi, Rava Ladoo, Bhajiya, Carrot Halwa, Kachori, Puri & Potato Shak, Thanndai, Puran Poli, and Dahi Vada.  During Holi, family and friends congregate in their backyards or driveways to play with different-colored powders, flowers, and water.
