Crispy Medu Vada Made by Jaimi!!!

Ingredients to make medu vada are 3 cups urad dal, 1.5 TSP salt, finely chopped handful of cilantro, sunflower oil for frying, 8 TBSP rice flour, and 3 finely chopped green chillies.

Medu vada are deep fried crispy savory donuts made with urad dal.  These fritters are one of the famous South Indian dish and are commonly served as a breakfast or as a snack.  Medu vada are soft inside and crisp from outside.  Best enjoyed with Sambar on the side.
