Do you love great adventure? Do you love great mystery stories? Do you love magical tales? Then this is the right book for you!
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth book of the series by the best-selling author, J.K. Rowling. Harry sees the Quidditch World Cup, a world-wide quidditch tournament, at the beginning of the story. When he arrives at Hogwarts, the awesome, magical school he goes to, he is told that there is going to be a Triwizard Tournament there, and students under 17 aren’t allowed to enter. However, once the Hogwarts champions’ names are revealed, mysteriously, Harry’s name is on the list. He faces three difficult challenges. When Harry is in the maze, the last task, and grabs the Cup with Cedric, they are teleported to a graveyard because the Cup was a Portkey, a magical object that teleports you to a specific location.
You-Know-Who kills Cedric, and he vainly attempts to kill Harry using the Avada Kedavra Curse, an unstoppable curse that can kill anyone, especially humans. However, since Harry’s and You-Know-Who’s wands both had brother Phoenix feathers from the Phoenix, Fawkes, Harry didn’t die. He teleported back to the maze with Cedric’s dead body using the Portkey. Harry went home when school was over and was proclaimed the winner of the Triwizard Tournament.
I recommend this book to magic lovers, fantasy readers, and J.K. Rowling fans. This book is an interesting read and a best-seller! Always filled with magic, mystery, and adventure, it’s one of my favorite books. I suggest that you borrow it from your local library and start reading it right away!
