“Diana: Princess of the Amazons” Book Review by Kruti!!!

Do you love graphic novels? Do you love adventure? Then you should read Diana: Princess of the Amazons, an excellent graphic novel.

It starts with a girl named Diana, more well-known as Wonder Woman. She lives on the islands of the Amazons and is the only child there. However, it can get lonely quickly when all the grown-ups are busy and Diana has no one to play with. Not even her mom since she’s so busy! So Diana decides to make a friend of her own. Does that make sense? How can she make her own friend?

Diana recalls that her mother made her from clay, so she would do the same. She sculpts a child sleeping near the water and blows on the still child. The child doesn’t move. Not even an inch. Diana gives up and goes away. As she walks home, she spots a shadowy figure that looks like a girl and chases after it. She sees it is Mona, which is what she named the statue girl. She really did come to life!

Mona doesn’t want to be seen by Diana’s mother, so she sneaks past the guards and sleeps with Diana. After Diana’s lessons, they start doing some pranks and cause some mischief together. Diana tells Mona that she feels sad that everyone is too busy to play with her and that she’s either too old or too young for everything. They continue to cause mischief together, when Mona tells Diana to try to open the latch to the Doom’s Doorway. Mona opens the latch and…MONSTERS COME OUT EVERYWHERE!

What will happen next? Read the graphic novel to find out! My favorite part of this story was the ending. It was cool and kind of unexpected. (No spoilers!) So what are you waiting for? You should check out this awesome graphic novel: Diana: Princess of the Amazons!
