Ever heard of a dog catching balls with paws? You might be surprised what they can do. What about a monowheel motorcycle? Know what that is? If you think those are amazing, wait until you see these World Records that were set by amazing organisms-human and animal!
First up is the beagle who caught the most balls with her paws. But that’s not all. She caught 14 in one minute! The beagle, whose name is Purin, started practicing her soccer moves every day in her home in Japan. She does a lot of tricks other than being a sports star. Purin’s owner, Makoto Kumagai, gets asked by people why “soccer teams aren’t scouting her yet”. Impressive, right? Don’t underestimate dogs, and animals in general, about what it seems like they might not be able to do. Sometimes, they find a way!
The next talented being is a man named Mark Foster, who set the record for fastest monowheel motorcycle! If you don’t know what that is, let me explain. A monowheel motorcycle is basically a one-wheeled vehicle that is propelled by its rider, and the the rider sits on a seat inside of the wheel! This guy hurtled by at more than 72 miles per hour! You’re supposed to stay at the bottom, but it was hard to not spin upside down inside of the wheel, which is called a “gerbil”!
Last, but not least, is our highest bungee dunker, Simon Berry! Have you ever tried bungee jumping? Ever tried dipping a cookie into a cup of tea while doing it? That’s what this man did. He went 250 feet downwards in in the air, and near the ground was a cup of tea. As he reached it, he dipped his wafer into the vessel. Bea-tea-ful! See what I did there?
These stunts and records were amazing and extraordinary! I don’t think any of us really thought about them actually being done by someone or some animal. Hope you enjoyed this article summary and these wonderful and intriguing tales of Guinness World Records!!!
